Foundation realized that Public libraries play a vital role in supporting education in numerous ways and aimed to establish these libraries as the new generation has left reading the books because of social media. MMF knows that the libraries has significant role in the society such as:-

• Free Access to Information: Libraries provide free access to a wide range of resources, including books, journals, newspapers, magazines, and online databases. This access is crucial for students of all ages, from elementary school children to university students and lifelong learners.  
• Literacy Development: Libraries are crucial for promoting literacy. They offer a variety of programs and resources to support early childhood literacy development, such as story times, reading programs, and age-appropriate books. They also provide resources and support for adult literacy programs.  
• Research and Learning: Libraries provide the resources and environment necessary for research and learning. Students can use library resources to conduct research for school projects, explore topics of interest, and expand their knowledge.  
• Lifelong Learning: Libraries support lifelong learning by providing access to a wide range of educational materials and programs for adults, including online courses, workshops, and lectures.  
• Digital Literacy: In today’s digital age, libraries play an essential role in promoting digital literacy. They provide access to computers, the internet, and digital resources, and offer training programs on how to use these technologies effectively.  
• Community Hubs: Libraries serve as community hubs, providing a welcoming space for people of all ages to gather, learn, and connect. They often host community events, such as book clubs, author talks, and film screenings, which promote intellectual and cultural enrichment.

The Masjid & Madaris Foundation’s initiative to establish public libraries within their Masajid & Madaris is commendable.
