Drinking Water Projects

The Holy 'Qur'an has declared water as the basic human need. Allah Almighty Says:

Translation:

And we have made from water every living thing

Every living thing makes use of water. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) has declared the offering of water to drink as the noblest of all offerings. (Abu Daud/Alnisai/Ibn-e-Maja). The places where Masajid-o-Madaris Foundation is operating are mountainous and remote villages where the problem of unavailability of water is considered to be the one among other basic problems. Women have to fetch water for household use from far off areas. At times, the shortage of water causes severe problems for the cattle, Particularly, in winter the scarcity of water generates a crisis. Thus, on the basis of sympathy with fellow beings, Masjid-o-Madaris Foundation, with the cooperation of the charitable people,has planned to dig wells and construct water tanks at places where water is not available particularly near mosques, Alhamdolillah,the Foundation met wonderful success in these projects as with the cooperation of generous personalities,The construction of 205 water tanks and wells has been completed and about 15 such projects are under construction whereas the equal number is in pipeline.
